John O’Connor received a Bachelor of Science degree from Illinois State University in 1982 and a Juris Doctor degree from the John Marshall Law School in 1986 where he was a member of the Trial Advocacy Program.
John was a Senior Arbitrator for the Eighteenth Judicial Circuit and is a current member of the Illinois Bar Association, Cook County Bar Association, Kane County Bar Association, and Illinois Defense Council.
Mr. O’Connor has considerable experience in civil litigation with specialization in premises liability, construction litigation, institutional neglect, product liability and complex injury cases. John has represented clients in all areas of insurance litigation and tort defense. Mr. O’Connor is an experienced trial attorney and has successfully handled jury trials throughout his career.
Mr. O’Connor has tried cases to verdict in various counties throughout the State of Illinois, including Cook, DuPage, Kane and St. Claire Counties. Mr. O’Connor also has successfully handled declaratory actions involving insurance coverage claims as well as first party uninsured and underinsured claims.
