Nicole V. Russo recently re-joined the firm as Principal in August 2016, and has been practicing workers’ compensation defense her entire legal career. She is a graduate of Chicago-Kent College of Law and was admitted to the Illinois State Bar in 2005. Nicole has tried more than 40 cases at the Arbitration, Commission, and Circuit Court levels, and has defended a victory decision on appeal in the Second District Appellate Court.
Nicole was honored as an Emerging Lawyer, selected by Illinois Leading Lawyers in 2016 and 2015. This distinction is awarded to the top 2% of lawyers under 40 years old. Nicole has also participated in client presentations where she spoke on the topic of “managing difficult clients” and “effective use of prior awards and injuries in defending a claim.”
